Marta & Piotr – Iceland

piotrekmarta_0379Our last photo session abroad was shot in Venice, where we got spoiled by good weather, however this time we were shooting in unpredictable Iceland. Planning my trip, I knew that it could get very cold, wet and windy there; generally very unpleasant conditions considering I would be spending a lot of time outdoors ;). I was secretly hoping that my friends’ tales about sunshine and 20 degree heat would come true… That would be idyllic, especially considering I was heading to Iceland. Oh how naïve I was… I was confronted with reality in the form of rain, cold and wind. And to top it off we could not see any steam in the nearby area which would indicate we were close to a geyser that we were dreaming of.

Despite not seeing any geysers, we did manage to see wild horses, beautifully picturesque mountains surrounded by low clouds and never-ending landscape full of volcanic soil. And surrounded by all of these were Marta and Piotr. I would like to invite you to have a look at a series of their photographs. I hope that you will enjoy them as much as I did!
