We have never fantasised about doing a wedding photo session in Venice as we feel more confident surrounded by nature and open space. Looking back we know it was a mistake as that place mesmerised us completely! Colourful buildings right by the crystal clear sea, countless bridges over the canals, which divide this place into 117 little islands and the romantic Italian atmosphere in the air- those three things stuck in my head the most after my visit to Venice, which really is the city of love. We not only wanted to see the city but also feel it and taste it. We had the opportunity to visit many cafes, try traditional Italian food in a few restaurants and talk to the locals during our stay. I hope that what I’m describing here will make you feel exactly what we felt when you see the pictures!
Our job during the photo session was somehow easier as our models were professional photographers themselves. It gave us a real sense of freedom during the shoot- Iwona and Michal knew well what would look good and what would not. We understood each other completely and we had their trust 100% when it came to coming up with new and unconventional shots which would allow us to win more international photography competitions. On the other hand, in order to see the whole place we really needed legs made of steel and a very good stamina! We calculated that during the two days of shooting we did about 60km carrying all our necessary equipment with us. That’s a lot! Was it worth it? Have a look!
